"Ankle Plus has been an incredible asset for me in my ankle's recovery and strengthening process. The device is very simple and convenient to use. I have had a lengthy history of sprains dating back to my days playing soccer, and now Ultimate and the message stayed the same "oh you rolled your ankle? It's going to happen again. It's inevitable." Ankle Plus does away with that notion immediately, and after consistent use I've graduated from needing a brace / tape on both ankles just to get through a game. It's like a stress ball, but for your ankles. Not only do I not need to stabilize, but I don't worry about rolling something when I cut, accelerate, or jump.
I highly recommend this to anyone who has experienced recurring ankle injuries, and any athletes who are looking for ways to stay ahead in their down time or recovery. As an Ultimate player, my feet take a constant beating throughout the year: Ankle Plus ensures that staying on the field is the least of my concerns."

Coming into freshman year of high school I suffered a high ankle sprain in my right ankle. After deciding to forego surgery, I began physical therapy in hopes of making it back in time for soccer season. After a couple weeks of therapy, I was able to play with my ankle taped and left my ankle therapy exercises behind me. But as anyone who's suffered a serious ankle injury knows, once the ligaments and tendons are damaged, your ankles are never the same. I was forced to tape my ankles every time I played soccer, from playing for Heritage High School and Rush's Development Academy program to my collegiate career at Haverford College. Whether it was a game or just pick up, if I didn't tape my ankles (and even sometimes when I did) I would re-sprain one of them.
During the 2015 spring semester, I was exercising my ankles in the traditional fashion of tying an elastic band to a squat rack and sitting on the floor when the insight behind Ankle Plus hit me: "Ankles don't need a massive squat rack to exercise them, they aren't that strong." After drawing up a few sketches, we built the first Ankle Plus out of wood. I kept it by the couch in my dorm room and started using it whenever I sat down to study, watch tv, eat, etc. I found myself using the Ankle Plus like a toy, working through the 3 exercises every time I was in my room. After a few weeks with the Ankle Plus, I decided to put it to the test and play without my ankles taped. My ankles felt stronger than ever and I started leaving my brace and tape at home, playing 3-4 times a week without suffering a single sprain all semester. With the Ankle Plus, I was able to actually do the exercises I should have been doing all along without deviating from my everyday routine. Ankle exercises only work when you do them and the Ankle Plus makes them so easy you wont be able to help yourself. Get back on your feet and stay there!
